RESPECT: This is the generic note of 'treat others how you would be treated'. Please treat everyone else on the site with a level of decorum. If we see any needless insults, intolerance, or harassment, suspenions are imminent.


RATING: Proboards general rules state no content above PG-13. To avoid the risk of a site deletion, we ask that you keep any violent scenes somewhat moderate, your sex implied, and your swearing not too extravagant. We know Dragon Age is not a bunnies and flowers world, but we expect this is still do-able.


POSTING: This site does have a word count minimum that we expect most people to be able to meet, which is 200 words (which should be about two small-to-average-sized paragraphs). This is mostly due to the fact our monetary system is driven by posts, and could easily be exploited otherwise.

☀ PLAY FAIR: The ever-present posting rule of 'don't assume you can do this to a person's character just because they're pretty chill'. Please don't god-mode or power play anyone's character unless both parties have discussed the actions and are agreeable on it. Meta-gaming is also intensely frowned upon no matter what circumstances, and if we ever see it excessively used, we will take action against it.
☀ GIVE AND TAKE: Make an effort every time you post to ensure you're giving your partner something to work with. We know quality trumps quantity, but we also don't like to see one particular person carrying a thread through windy posts that take several actions to attempt to engage the other parties and get very little, if anything, in response. The same can go in the opposite end, however – don't overwhelm someone with everything in your arsenal in one post.

ACTIVITY: We ask that people make an effort to log in and post every two weeks, and if you even think there's even a possible chance you can't make that quota, please post an away notice. This goes for just about any circumstance, even if it's a loss of muse – just please let us know.

☀ IMPORTANT ROLES: Important roles are expected to be even more active. How active really depends on the role, but just know if we see an important role flagging in activity with no away notice, you may have your spot taken away.

CHARACTERS: You can only have one character per account, and the starting limit for everyone is four characters. You can earn more slots to make more characters later, but four is a decent starting amount.

☀ IMAGES: This is a slightly complicated one. You are not required to use any images for your character, but if you want to use some, please use ones that are screenshots of in-game models from any fantasy-esque setting game (Dragon Age itself, Skyrim, Dragon's Dogma, etc). We know this can be limiting, but if need be, at least one of the staff should be willing to make your character in one of the games they own and take screenshots for you to use. Here would be a good place to look into getting images. You can base your character's appearance off any other source (description or recreation within a game, either or), of course, but you simply can't use those images within the RP itself (example being: Dani's character where she recreated her inspiration in Skyrim)

SIZE LIMITS: Avatars are 200x300px. Signatures can also be 550px in width, but we ask you don't make them taller than 250px. At this time, we are not allowing templates.
